Spelunkers

 
It was a joy to take this project at  Spelunkers , a family-owned burger joint, in Front Royal, VA. With a sunny atmosphere and excellent local food, it seemed fitting to design a space as warm and charming as the local fixture's delightful reputation.

The custom built booths are made from reclaimed barn wood out of Ohio and Pennsylvania. There is a relaxed charm to reclaimed barn wood that instantly makes people feel at home.

We mixed school house style chairs into the design to contrast the cool, smooth steel with the grains of the aged oak.
